Fashionlane Review: Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation.

After purchasing this item onΒ My Beautylish unwrappingΒ >>>>>>>(I wrote a post on this previously). I decided to give an update review because I noticed a few things when I wore the foundation on yesterday. It separated on the nose area immediately. I do not know why. I cleansed my face obviously. I shook the bottle before usage.

I am going to wear this for the next few days, instead of my other foundations and see what difference that makes. I did not wear makeup today. I wanted to give my skin a break. Last night, I washed my face and used the, Charlotte Tilbury, Magic Glow Balm and it left my skin nice and smooth when I woke up this morning.

I do not know what is happening with my skin but, this too shall pass, lol πŸ™‚

Anastasia Beverlyhills X Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit

There was a lot of build up on the blogs about this item. I watch some videos on YouTube about glow kits breaking, coming damaged, etc. I do not know if these people are telling the truth or not. However, I can with 100 percent certainty report that my glow kit came in perfect condition. No issues, not broken highlighters, nothing! See for yourselves πŸ™‚

Fashionlane Review: Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

What I liked:

  • Color fits my skin tone.
  • Smells OK! Not a floral, smell, which is why most women love Chanel and Lamer. The scent of their items sell the products, as much as the content of the product itself.
  • Nice attempt to include other shades that fit women of color.
  • The powder puff is cute.
  • The packaging is appealing.

What needs improvement:

  • The only issue is the color is once again limited to a shade demographic.
  • It does not open up to the other women of color with varying skin tones.
  • The container should be as sophisticated as the puff that comes with it.
  • I want to be able to open the box and fall in love with the packaging, as well as, the product.
  • Whatever ingredient that is included to hold the shine, you need more of it. (I had to apply twice after my initial makeup application).

All in all, I like the product. Laura, we need more for the many shades of women…
