Apple Cider Vinegar as a facial toner? Who knew? I did and more bloggers/writers are finding this out.

I have been using apple cider vinegar for years. I wrote few blogs written back I used it to describe using it instead of deodorant. Now Danielle Ruppert has written a blog post on it recently. Here is her section below on how to make a skincare toner using apple cider vinegar.

The second way to clear up acne is to use apple cider vinegar as a toner. Instead of using those harsh toners that have chemicals in them, switch them out for an apple cider vinegar toner that is super simple to make! Take a clear glass or plastic container (with a cap) and add your desired amount of the apple cider vinegar depending on how much toner you are planning to make.

I use is a three ounce plastic container, that I purchased from the travel section of my local grocery store, and add two tablespoons of the vinegar. If you have sensitive skin I would recommend using less apple cider vinegar. The next step is to then dilute the apple cider vinegar with distilled or filtered water. Follow a ratio of one part vinegar to about two or three parts water. You might have to test out the ratio to get the perfect ratio for your skin. Lastly, once you have your toner ratio all figured out, grab a cotton pad or cotton ball, add a small amount of the toner, and apply to the entire face after cleansing. Then, after the toner is completely dry on the skin, you can apply any other facial products or moisturizers you wish to use!

Both of these apple cider vinegar tips will help keep bad bacteria and toxins out of your skin and body which, in return, will clear up acne and prevent it in the future (with regular use of course). Now, I’m not going to tell you that this will work for everyone and every type of acne… because it won’t… but if you tried almost every acne hack in the book to try and clear up your skin, this just might work for you!
