It’s holiday time and most of us who are bloggers, writers and planners love a great planner and the accessories that help us stay organized and journal filled. I have been swarming the internet and my own planner brain for the items that are on my shopping list to purchase this holiday season.
I love journals and planners no much that I have a small family of them. However, if you are not looking to pay a car note or mortgage on a planner. I have a few cuties you can meet.
♥♥♥The Atlanta Falcons have taught us one thing. If you do not continue the leads you have in life, by making them better the end is never certain. As bloggers it is our challenge to give our readers content they can sink their teeth into. However, what happens to we, the bloggers, when our gains drop off. Keep living and moving.
Motivational Monday and Super Soul Sunday were keys I used to assist me in getting back on the blogging horse.I had a recent death in my family, my mother in law, and I needed a break. My mother in law had a horrible way to go: Alzheimer’s and Dementia. I pray you all never witness a family member pass away from the combination of these two at the same time. It pained me so much to go to my in laws home and see my mother in law suffering.
Since she had a husband, and children; was it my place to voice any concerns, I may have had about her care, eating, doctor visits, etc? No. I could only express to my husband to go see his mother and make sure she was being cared for. She was young and vibrant. She was an amazing woman, wife, mother and human being. Over one hundred people were in attendance at her Mass and funeral.
I had the pleasure of speaking at the service and that was the least I could do. It was a beautiful service. The priest told me I did a great job. ♥♥♥
Are you living your best life today? If not, write a note in your planners (yes, buy yourself a planner to stay organized), and make goals and objectives you can maintain. Life is not certain. We do not know the time and date of our transitions. However, we can make goals and objective to live our best lives, so we can have the words spoken at our funerals fit our true character.
I really love it! My Lamy fountain pen, that is. Sometime ago, I mentioned that I am in some facebook planner groups. Most of the members do not use a fountain pen. I was introduced to the fountain pen idea, after going to a cute pen boutique in the French Quarters called, Papier Plume. They have a treasure trove of items for agendas, pens, work bags, note cards, etc. I was in paper heaven.
Today, I was in church taking notes on fighting the good fight (sermon topic) and I was engrossed in my notetaking and my pen was going out. Thankfully, I was able to finish taking my notes and realized that I was out of ink. However, raking my brain as to the location of my new ink cartridge I purchased🤔
I have a habit of hiding things due to a little 6.5 year old who gets into everything imaginable. Those of you with kids or young siblings understand. 😘 After searching all over I finally found her in my makeup/planner bag. 🏌🏌🏌🏌🏌🏌
I can now begin journaling and planning. But I hit a snag: how do I change the cartridge? YouTube. Yes, youtube, to the rescue. I found this nice video on how to change the ink in a Lamy pen. So I sharing of course😎 Video on: 👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽Installing a Lamy fountain pen: Enjoy!
Yes! There is fashion in the #plannerlust community. People (some) are on the extreme end and there are others who are (like me) just jot down to do’s and keep moving. Either way, planning is fashion because we plannerista decorate, dress up and cover or beloved planners.
This video looks at a Louis Vuitton Desk Agenda. There is a huge following on social media sites: facebook, twitter, instagram or these large planner communities. On facebook alone most of these facebook planner groups are private. You must be selected to join them. Once inside of these elite social communities you can #plannerlust over some of the designs of these planner mavens and planneristas.
